SAN DIEGO

I arrived into mainland United States at the city of San Diego on the west coast. Gave the bicycle a real good service, got loads of maps and started planning a route across the states that allows me to see the worthy sights, while also taking the climate into consideration. Stayed at a pretty cool hostel (St Christopher's Hostel) in 'Little Italy'. Did some touristy stuff including visiting an aircraft carrier and one of the world's best zoos. San Diego zoo has it all, Western gorrillas, every big cat there is, orangutans and all bears including pandas. One of the best zoos in the world. Now lets get pedalling again.
